For radial saws and table saws. These all purpose blades give scratch-free polished cuts on wood. Crosscut up to 2" thick. Rip up to 1" thick. They have a 30 DEG alternate top bevel with a 5 DEG face hook on 10" diameters and smaller. (On 12" diameters and larger 20 DEG ATB). They are also made with double-hard and 40% stronger #C4 carbide. Thin kerf design saves 1/3 wood loss on each cut, feeds easily when used for moderate rips and crosscuts on a table saw. Eliminates bottom splintering on radial crosscuts. With the new 30 DEG ATB tooth style, this blade stops splintering on ply veneers on both radial saws and table saws.
Technical Details
-A heavier than normal steel plate maintains maximum stability for the best cut.-A negative face hook also adds to optimum rigidity when cutting
-Each blade is hand straightened to run out of .001"/.002" for maximum cut quality.
-Buy and sharpen ONE blade instead of 3, (24T Rip, 50T Combination, 80T Crosscut).
-Ends cutting 1/16" oversize to allow for RESURFACING

This is the first time to purchase a Forrest blade and it certainly won't be the last. I haven't had it long, but it has easily cut 1 1/2" oak without burning, even on a slow cut. There's a little splintering when crosscutting, but nothing out of the ordinary.
It's definitely worth what I paid for it.

I've been seeing things about the Forrest Blade for many (!) years and finally gave in, bit the bullet ($$) and now have this 12" blade on my Dewalt
12" compound slider. This blade performs just as I expected it to. Slick cross cuts on hard wood, wonderful cuts on ply (birch) with minimal to no bottom side chipping. I got just a few weeks of work out of it so can't speak to longer term durability.
A wonderful tool for finish work.
