Alan N. FlemingThe product works satisfactorily. It is not high quality as the DELTA name would suggest.
"Basic, Made-in-China, Bits" 2009-01-28By

These are basic, Made-in-China Forstner Bits. I agree with the others: they do the job...not great, but certainly serviceable, especially at today's price of ~$15.
I have uploaded a few photos since there were none before. Worth noting:
Pros: a nice plastic case and assortment of sizes
Con: the low quality of manufacturing [see pitted cutting surface]
Overall rating: a decent buy for general use...not for the high-end work, though.

I read a bunch of reviews before buying this product. It seems everyone has Forstner bit sets for sale. I bought these and have had not one problem. They are percise for my drilling needs. As I get more involved with my woodworking, I can see buying more of different sizes.
"Probably the best forstner bits for the money." 2006-10-13By

I agree with the other reviewers here. These are not the best bits out there. However, they are very good bits for the money. There are some holes that really need forstners bits. These will do the job and should last a good long while with my occational use of them. If you are planning on using your bits frequently, you might want to upgrade to a more expensive set. If I could do it over again, I would make this purchase again.

Are these going to cut flawless holes in wood? No, but how many bits do. Are they going to last for years? Probably not. Are they a great value for the money spent? Yes.
I bought these because I didn't want to pay $85 for a good Freud set. For a beginner, a one time project, or a home woodworker on a budget, this is the perfect set to buy. Any set right out of the box will cut relatively cleanly, its how a bit performs on the 100th hole that tells the story. Obviously, a better carbide set would cut cleaner, longer, but since I could buy four of these sets for the price of the Freud, I still say these are money saved. They allow you to cut reasonable clean (not perfect), flat bottomed holes for less than 1/4 of the cost of a truly great set. Because they are not carbide, of course they will not last as long between sharpenings and ultimately have to be replaced sooner. But, for my needs as a home woodworker, buying this set allows me to get right to work without breaking the tool budget.
