These bades make an excellent smooth cut. I have used them on various types of wood and they work well with each type.

I'VE BEEN A WOODWORKER FOR 30 YEARS AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BLADES I'VE EVER USED--CUTS CLEAN.
"Nice as any Bosch blade I guess." 2009-08-09By

It cuts pretty smooth but I didn't pull off any scroll cuts that wouldn't require finishing. I didn't notice a drastic improvement over the progressors I usually use to be honest. That said, Bosch makes a nice blade. I'll pretend like I'm doing the smart thing by pulling these out when I want a smoother cut but I doubt I'll buy more when I run out unless they're as cheap as the progressors I practically bought in bulk recently.

Jigsaw blades should not cost this much, but in the five pack or greater quantity, they are not too unreasonable. Once you try them, you will buy more. They will improve the cut-quality of any jigsaw. With a good jigsaw (like Bosch) you can get joinery-quality cuts that require little if any clean-up. With a Bosch jigsaw and these blades, I have cut plywood, hardwoods like oak, ipe, walnut, mahogany, even ebony and lignum vitae... rip cuts, crosscuts, you name it! They are superb and last a long time.
Add some to your next Amazon order. You will thank me.
"Excellent cut in hardwood" 2009-03-30By
C. HenkeThis style of blade is far superior, even to the other fine-toothed blades that Bosch makes and labels "clean for wood." These blades are labeled "X-tra clean for wood," and that's no joke. I used both the "clean" and the "X-tra clean" on some 1x red oak and the difference was clear.
Only downside is that the blades are a little on the long side, so I had to remove the blade so the saw (Bosch also) would fit back in its case.
